Chapter Ch.39 - Forest of Blue Mirage Beasts (END)

Tashia Rochard (타시아 로챠드, Tasia Rochyadeu) is a marchioness and current head of the Rochard family, one of the top Three Retainer Families in the kingdom.  Despite her age, she has a youthful appearance.

Her appearance is rather youthful despite her old age; only the closest aides to the king were granted with 'eternal' youth, Tashia being one of them.  As a marchioness, she is constantly seen wearing fancy clothes of the current trend. She has dark skin, long, wavy blond hair, and purple eyes. However her eyes more often have black sclera and red irises.

However unlike the other retainers, Tashia may be the only one who ages younger as her appearance in other characters' flashbacks show that she had a more mature physique in the past than her current figure.

After the catastrophe that happens in the capital because of Munyak's rampage, she loses her youthful appearance in Season 2 Episode 7, looking like her true age (which is unknown, but is decades old).

Despite her age and being the head of a famous noble family, she is impatient and has a brash behavior.  She has no qualms in talking in a rude and improper manner.  Of the three main retainers' heads, she is the most sadistic and erratic.

She was one of Loenkant's allies during the War of Independence, and was granted eternal youth and a noble title as a reward for her great contributions.

She later appears in Akoom territory, attacking three young Akoom: Luna, Via, and Dark. She immediately turned Luna into a human, but abducted Via for experimentation. After he failed as an experiment, she kept around him and made him her 'grandson'.

Plot Edit

Season 1 Episode 2:  Forest of Blue Mirage BeastsEdit

During an intense interrogation on Hick, Stravin, already breaking most of the Akoom's bones, decides to have Tashia use her Dragon Artifact on the slave regarding what happened during his stay at the Mirage Beast Hunters'' village.  Tashia, introduced as the marchioness and head of the Rochard family, complains about using her Artifact as she already had a bad day--not only did she have trouble from her washroom visit (speaking in a vulgar manner), she rants that her cunning 'grandson' is hiding merchants goods from her.  But when Stravin praises her that the 'grandson' is of 'her creation', she laughs haughtily out loud.  She then takes out her Artifact and goes through Hick's minds.

Season 1 Episode:  StravinEdit

Before being shot by his own nephew, Tashia rescues Stravin from death's door and gives him a potion for the Mirage Beast poison he took.  She comments how General Laiden has already settled the problem that happened near King Pachel's office.  Tashia asks Stravin if the attacker was a relative of his which he answers no.

Season 1 Episode 4:  TaturangEdit

She is seen months later in the main Rochard mansion, barging in on her 'grandson's' bath and questioning if he knew of a woman named Karin from the Python Enterprise who had accompanied Stravin at the Labyrinth.  She hastily talks about how Stravin, the most powerful in The King's Chamber Council, is now dead - or rather became Blackthorn - and has left the Chamber disorganized.  Tashia openly thinks of ridding of its members, but mumbles on about how Stravin had advised fixing her destructive habit yet she rebels on the fact how the duke is not around anymore to follow his orders.  She then suddenly goes back to her original question on whether Eren knows who Karin is, explaining how she was the witness of Stravin's last moments.  She storms quickly out of the room intent on finding out what happened.

Season 2 Episode 7:  Dorton Edit

Season 2 Episode:  DarkEdit

Tashia is a highly apt Contractor when using the Special-class Dragon Artifact Witch of the Night (밤의 마녀, Bamui Manyeo). Taking the shape of a giant scythe, it is of the Chaos element.  She keeps it in a purple cylindrical purse.

  • Mind Reading:  The Chaos element enables her to go through everything in a person's mind, even a Contractor's.
  • Teleportation:  Like Dark, she is able to transfer herself to any place she wants to be.
  • Regeneration:  Even though she gets shot by The Bow of Rahutanoks, she can easily regenerate herself.  This may be the fact that the bow is of Darkness.
